Q

Who is the City Summit for?

The COS City Summit is for leaders of churches, businesses, nonprofit and public-sector organizations, who want to find out the real issues behind a range of challenges facing the Pikes Peak region, and how best to get involved in practical solutions. The event is for anyone leading or shaping their organization’s efforts to address local crises.

What is the purpose of the City Summit?

The outcome of the City Summit are simple: 1) establish collaborative partnerships that align the resources of the local Church and business communities with those of the experts meeting local challenges everyday; and (2) establishing and developing long-term, sustainable networks that work year-round to maintain robust solutions.

Who else will be there?

Over 300 local leaders from our city’s four sectors: business, church, nonprofit, and public-sector organizations. If you lead somewhere and you care about our city, this event is for you.

What is Compassion International?

Compassion International is a 70-year-old global nonprofit ministry working to release children from poverty in dozens of countries around the world. They have called Colorado Springs their corporate home for over 50 years, and are eager to host local leaders in their newly-renovated flagship headquarters.

What can I expect to happen at the City Summit?

You can expect to hear from experts from around our city - and even a few national leaders - who are implementing practical, broad-based solutions to some of our city’s most pressing issues. You’ll be in conversations that will guide you toward best-practices solutions, and align your organization’s efforts with others working toward the same solutions.
